From brokenness to Awakening.
In 2012, our marriage hit rock bottom.
What looked strong on the outside was fractured underneath—miscommunication, unresolved pain, disrespect, and eventually, infidelity. It could have been the end… but by God’s grace, it became our beginning.
We were two people in covenant, but completely disconnected. Trying to survive marriage without God at the center, without the right tools, and without true accountability. But in the brokenness, something unexpected happened:
God awakened His love in us.
Not a surface-level fix—but a holy pursuit.
A love that forgives. That rebuilds. That repents. That fights for what God joined together.
He didn’t just patch us up. He transformed us.
A Prophetic Turning Point
On October 5, 2013, we renewed our vows—not because everything was perfect, but because we were committed to rebuilding. We were still healing, still raw, but we knew God was doing something new.
That same season, close friends—pastors—visited us with a prophetic word and a vial of anointing oil. It symbolized healing, covenant, and a fresh start.
We didn’t know it then, but that moment marked the birth of something bigger than us.
It was the beginning of Awaken Love.
Why We Exist
We know what it feels like to lose hope.
To be married but feel lonely. To be ashamed. To not know where to turn.
That’s why Awaken Love exists—not just as a ministry, but as our testimony in motion.
We’re committed to walking with couples through every season:
with truth, with tools, and with the transformational power of Jesus Christ.
You’re not too far gone.
Your story isn’t over.
And you don’t have to fight alone.
It’s time to Awaken Love—the way God intended it.
From Healing to Calling
We never set out to start a ministry.
We were just being honest. Transparent. And slowly, couples began to reach out:
“Can you help us?”
“Can we talk?”
“How did you get through it?”
That’s when we realized:
Our story wasn’t just for us—it was an assignment.
In 2017, we were invited to serve at a church event, and everything clicked. God was saying:
“Now it’s time to pour out. To walk with other couples. To speak life into what feels dead.”
